Youth Red Cross is a member of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement and exists to prevent and alleviate human suffering. As a volunteer, Individual can make a difference in children and young people’s lives. At the same time, the Individual will grow as a person. As a volunteer an Individual can make a clear difference in children and young people’s lives. That way they can help make the world a better place.

Today, all over the world, youth are involved in all kinds of disaster work, and they constantly train and prepare to improve. Youth Red Cross recognizes the added value of youth, not only ensuring that young people work alongside other volunteers, but also designing specific youth activities and programs.

Participating in Youth Red Cross (YRC) will help students to inculcate discipline in them and to understand their responsibilities towards their countrymen, especially the poor and less fortunate. At J.N.N, students, can get a feel and appreciate the pleasure of serving the society.

The seven fundamental principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement are:

1. Humanity

2. Impartiality

3. Neutrality

4. Independence

5. Voluntary Service

6. Unity

7. Universality

Red Cross Society functions with the one and only aim of serving people in distress without any consideration of caste, religion, language and nationality.

At J.N.N we want our students to focus on these aspects apart from just academics to help mold their personality towards the betterment of humanity.
